Bring your bike along and explore Katy Trail State Park, one of the longest rails-to-trails conversion in the U.S. The flat 240-mile trail offers hiking, running, walking and bicycling through Missouri countryside. Many wineries, restaurants, bed and breakfast inns, motels, campgrounds and shopping are located along the way. Due to limited space available, advanced reservations for bicycles is advised.

No matter if you arrive by bike or by rail, beautiful scenery, rich history, and unexpected delights await all who roll into Warrensburg, MO. We're known as a small town with a big soul for a reason. We're home to historic civil war sites, the University of Central Missouri, five-star accommodations, and a downright charming shopping and entertainment district downtown. We're even the "Home of Man's Best Friend," and to this day, pay tribute to Old Drum, a beloved hunting hound from the 1870s who is credited with being the original pup to inspire the phrase.
